Lauded by the Washington Post for her “strikingly poised nobility” and “commanding presence,” Tanya Gabrielian has captivated audiences worldwide, rising to international acclaim with first prizes in the Scottish International and Aram Khachaturian International Piano Competitions, as recipient of the Pro Musicis International Award, and as laureate of the Bösendorfer International Competition. Her Wigmore Hall (London) debut, as winner of the coveted Wigmore Prize of the Royal Academy of Music, was reviewed as “revelatory, a feast of romantic pianism which held us enthralled.” Tanya received bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the Royal Academy, as well as its highest performing award, the DipRAM, along with the prize for best final recital for six consecutive years. She then completed her studies at The Juilliard School as the only candidate accepted for the prestigious Artist Diploma Program, an extraordinarily selective post-graduate residency program. She currently resides in New York.
