Vivian Choi was born in Seoul, Korea. She began her extensive musical education at the Australian International Conservatorium of Music Preparatory School. She continued her training at Russia’sSaint Petersburg State Conservatory, graduating summa cum laude. Subsequently, she received her Masters of Music with Academic Honors and Graduate Diploma in Piano Performance from the New England Conservatory. In May 2010, Ms. Choi received her Artist Diploma from Carnegie Mellon University, having studied with Sergy Schepkin. Her 2010 debut recording, comprising works of Rachmaninoff, Prokofiev and Godowsky, was released on the St. Petersburg Musical Archives Northern Flowers label.
