Evgheny Brakhman is a prizewinner of more than 10 international piano competitions, including Cleveland, Tbilist and Rio de Janeiro. He has given recitals in more than 20 countries and performed with the Cleveland Orchestra, Russian National Orchestra, Georgian National Orchestra, Brazilian Symphony Orchestra, La Scala Theatre Orchestra, Tivoli Symphony, Bournemouth Symphony, Royal Scottish Symphony, Franz Liszt Orchetra, Vienna Chamber Orchestra, and the Chamber Orchestra of Wallonia.

In 1996, Evgheny won his first international piano competition – Concours Musical de France in Paris. But his true recognition came in 1999, when he won first prize at the Dino Ciani – Teatro La Scala international piano competition in Milan. Afterward, he was invited to play recitals worldwide and attended some of the most prestigious festivals in Europe – La Roque d’Antheron in France; Settimane Musicali di Stresa, Bolzano and Cervo festivals in Italy; Sakharov festival in Russia; and Martha Argerich project in Lugano, Switzerland.

In 2002, EMI Classics produced his first critically-acclaimed CD, titled “Martha Argerich Presents Evgeny Brakhman,” including performances of sonatas by Mozart, Beethoven and Liszt. In 2003, EMI produced his second CD, a live recording from the Lugano Festival in Switzerland. Brahkman is also a professor at Nizhny Novgorod State Glinka Conservatoire.
